The Story of God in the City of Eugene

We are a community of Jesus followers who orient our lives around the whole story of God.

The story of the whole world begins with God’s intention to cultivate abundance alongside humankind in a good world, and it traces God’s relentless pursuit of this original blueprint despite humanity’s rebellion against God. At the center of this story is Jesus, and through his life, teaching, death, and resurrection God is reconciling all things, restoring his original plan for humanity and creation. As we trust and follow the way of Jesus, we participate in this story and work toward restoration in all areas of our lives, including the city of Eugene.

We live as fruitful locals of Eugene, immersed within our neighborhoods, community, and culture.

As those reconciled to Jesus, we believe that our citizenship in his kingdom should make our presence good news to our local neighborhoods. As a church, we advocate for the poor, regularly gather to proclaim the good news of Jesus, and invite anyone into our life together. We do our best to live as a foretaste of God’s renewed world, and we do this by sharing the gospel of Jesus in everyday language and the generosity of his kingdom in ordinary acts of compassion.
